    Nilsson and Brandsdal winners of classic sprint in Drammen

    Drammen - Stina Nilsson (SWE) and Eirik Brandsdal (NOR) have won the classic sprint in Drammen! Hanna Falk (SWE) was third. Petter Northhug was fourth. 

    For both winners the race was very hard. Nilsson will try to do her best at the last race in Quebec to catch Maiken Caspersen Falla in overall sprint standing. Nilsson with 8th victores in this season is able to win overall. Brandsdal who won in Drammen two years ago, was just happy to reach the podium again.

  • Haga in 4th place at 30 kilometres

    Haga in 4th place at 30 kilometres

    Lahti - Ragnhild Haga finished the last 30 kilometres long competition in World Championship in 4th place. Haga was less than 6 secund behind the podium. Anyway the race was in colours of Norway, beacuse the first 4. positions were occupied by Norwegien athletes. 

    Charoltte Kalla was in a good position to reach the medal, until she broke her pole and lost the contact with the leading group.

  • Niklas Dyrhaug bronze in 15km classic at Lahti 2107

    Niklas Dyrhaug bronze in 15km classic at Lahti 2107

    Lahti - Niklas Dyrhaug (NOR), 34 year old crosscountry skier, won his first individual World Championship bronze medal at 15 kilometres long individual race in classic technique. Dyrhaug was very strong at the last part of the race where he secured the bronze over Russian Alexander Bessmertnykh (4th place).

    Dyrhaug said that he wanted to have the best 15km long race today and that he fought for every second. He did a good job!
