    Haga in 4th place at 30 kilometres

    Lahti - Ragnhild Haga finished the last 30 kilometres long competition in World Championship in 4th place. Haga was less than 6 secund behind the podium. Anyway the race was in colours of Norway, beacuse the first 4. positions were occupied by Norwegien athletes. 

    Charoltte Kalla was in a good position to reach the medal, until she broke her pole and lost the contact with the leading group. 

    Big congrats for Haga and Kalla!

    Niklas Dyrhaug bronze in 15km classic at Lahti 2107

    Lahti - Niklas Dyrhaug (NOR), 34 year old crosscountry skier, won his first individual World Championship bronze medal at 15 kilometres long individual race in classic technique. Dyrhaug was very strong at the last part of the race where he secured the bronze over Russian Alexander Bessmertnykh (4th place).

    Dyrhaug said that he wanted to have the best 15km long race today and that he fought for every second. He did a good job!

    Big congrats for the bronze medal!

    Charlotte Kalla took a silver medal in ladies' 10km classic

    Lahti -  Charlotte Kalla (SWE) won her first silver medal in the individual competition at the World Championships in general. In the first place was unbeatable Marit Bjorgen with a mirgin of 41 seconds ahead of Kalla. 

    Kalla said that she was happy to start early and was able to focuse only on her competition. She did a good job. Big Congrats for the silver medal!
