Golden weekend for Alpina
Alpina participated as a golden sponsor of the World Cup in cross-country skiing in Planica, on 21st and 22nd December 2019, and we can say that the weekend couldn't end better for us.
Both days were marked by really bad weather, which made preparations for organizer very difficult, but they managed to successfully complete both races - Individual and Team sprints for the World Cup points. On Saturday Sweden’s Jonna Sundling won the women’s sprint competition, beating her teammate Stina Nilson. Julia Kern (USA) finished third and won her first podium in career.
And all the runners came to the podium with our new Elite 3.0 ski boots, which are PVC FREE, lightweight, comfortable elastic and most important with breatheable premium upper.
On Sunday Linn Svahn and Maja Dahlqvist led the Swedish II womens team once more successfully to a team sprint victory. Team Sweden I with Stina Nilsson and Jonna Sundling follow on the second spot before the Swiss Team with Nadine Fähndrich and Laurien van der Graaff. Out of six competitiors, our Elite 3.0 were worn by four, so we can proudly say that we won 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal.
